Rupert Schmidhuber

geboren 1962, studierte am Mozarteum in Salzburg Instrumental- und Gesangspädagogik mit Hauptfach Trompete und den Schwerpunktfächern Chor- und Orchesterleitung; 1993 Diplomprüfung. Zur Zeit arbeitet er als Lehrer für Blechblasinstrumente an den Musikschulen Emertsham und Grassau, sowie als Dirigent beim Musikverein Schnaitsee. Seit 15 Jahren ist er Trompeter beim "Grassauer Blechbläserensemble".

born in 1962, studied music education at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where he received his diploma with teaching credentials in instrumental and vocal music in 1993. He majored in trumpet, and choral and orchestral conducting. He teaches brass instruments at present at the music schools in Emertsham and Grassau and works as conductor with the Schnaitsee Music Associaton. For the past 15 years he has played the trumpet as a member of the "Grassauer Brass Ensemble".
