Geboren am 26. Juni 1964 in Sindelfingen. 1973-1984 Unterricht an der Städtischen Musikschule Mannheim. 1984-1989 Studium an der Mannheimer Musikhochschule. Hauptfächer: Klavier, Musiktheorie und Hörerziehung. 1989-1994 Aufbaustudium "Künstlerische Ausbildung" in Klavier (bei Rudolf Meister) und Komposition (bei Wolfgang Rihm und Dimitri Terzakis). 1980 Kompositionspreis der Stadt Altleiningen. 1986 Stipendium der Stadt Mannheim für die "Darmstädter Ferienkurse für Neue Musik". 1988 Stipendium für den Sommerkurs "Treffen Junger Komponisten" in Weikersheim. Seit 1986 Lehrtätigkeit an der Städtischen Musikschule Mannheim (Klavier, Kammermusik und studienvorbereitender Unterricht in Musikthorie / Gehörbildung). Seit 1990 Konzertrezensentin für den "Mannheimer Morgen". Seit 1993 Lehrauftrag für Gehörbildung an der Mannheimer Musikhochschule. 1997 Förderpreis der Stadt Mannheim für Zeitgenössische Komposition. 2001: 1. Preis des Kompositionswettbewerbs des Orchestervereins der Stadt Kempten / Allgäu

Born in Sindelfingen on June 26, 1964. 1973-1984: pupil of the Municipal Music School in Mannheim. 1984-1989: studied at the Mannheim Music Academy; main subjects: piano, music theory, and ear training. 1989-1994: advanced studies "Künstlerische Ausbildung" in piano (with Rudolf Meister) and composition (with Wolfgang Rihm and Dimitri Terzakis). 1980: composition prize of the city of Altleiningen. 1986: scholarship from the city of Mannheim to attend the "Darmstadt Vacation Courses for New Music." 1988: scholarship to participate in the "Young Composers Meeting" summer courses in Weikersheim. Since 1986: teaching position at Mannheim's Municipal Music School (piano, chamber music and preparatory courses in theory and ear training). Since 1990 music critic for the "Mannheimer Morgen". Since 1993: teaching position for ear training at the Mannheim Music Academy. 1997: support prize of the city of Mannheim for contemporary composition. 2001: First prize at the composition contest of the orchestral association of the city of Kempten / Allgäu (Bavaria).
